Student Advisory Council
What is the Student Advisory Council?
The Student Advisory Council is a select group of K12-powered students from around the country who serve as advisors for their peers as well as brand ambassadors for K12 and their schools. Through this paid internship opportunity, they provide valuable feedback and insight about their experiences with career readiness education.

My dream job is to become an adolescent psychiatrist. During the years of adolescence, people will try to figure out who they are and how they fit into this world. Sometimes, people who are still finding their place need a little extra help.

Lily Perkins
Idaho Technical Career Academy
Career Field: Business
My name is Lily Perkins and I am 16 years old. I am a junior, attending Idaho Technical Career Academy. This is my fourth year going to this school and I love it. I live in north Idaho with my mom Claire, my dad Chris, and my two younger brothers, Jackson and Aaron. In my free time, I like to read, go to youth group, play board games, volunteer at my church, and practice yoga. After high school, I want to go to Liberty University and major in elementary education. I would like to become a first grade teacher and, hopefully, return to Idaho.
