Monti L. Pittman | Executive Director
Mr. Pittman was the academic administrator for the Idaho Virtual Academy (IDVA) Alternative Program prior to leading ITCA. Before coming to IDVA, he spent four years as executive director for the iSucceed Virtual High School in Idaho, guiding the school from start-up to maturity. He received his MBA from Idaho State University in 1994. Mr. Pittman spent many years working as a business and IT manager for several companies in Idaho, including MCMS, ComputerLand Technology Group, and the J.R. Simplot Company. For six-and-a-half years before coming to iSucceed, he used his industry experience to implement and support innovative engineering and technology education programs in Idaho schools through the Division of Professional Technical Education. Most recently, he found success in bridging the gap between secondary engineering and technology education programs and postsecondary engineering programs.
Eric Olsen | Principal
Mr. Olsen joined ITCA in 2020 as a math teacher. In 2023 he began his new role as principal. Mr. Olsen has been teaching high school math since 2011. He is passionate about helping students take ownership of their learning so they can be successful both in and out of school. Mr. Olsen loves hanging out with his family. Some of his interests include making and playing board games, running, performing traditional Irish music, and gardening.
Carrie Freeman | School Operations Manager
Mrs. Freeman joined ITCA in January of 2024. She began her career with K12 in 2007 as a teacher with Idaho Virtual Academy and is excited to return as Operations Manager for our three Idaho Schools. Mrs. Freeman spent the last 14 years with K12 Private Academy, managing various teams both on the academic and operation front. When not at work, Mrs. Freeman can be found hiking the Idaho mountains, at a ballpark watching Major League Baseball with her husband and two boys or traveling to concerts with her girlfriends.
Amanda Judd | Special Services Administrator
Ms. Judd started with ITCA in July 2016. She has been working in online schools for the past ten years and values the relationships formed when working with students and families. Ms. Judd enjoys spending time with her family and has a son and a daughter. You will find her reading, running, hiking, boating, and traveling in her spare time.
Mike Groshong | Human Resources Director
Mr. Groshong began as IDVA’s operations manager in the school’s inaugural year. His background includes four years as an intelligence analyst and Russian interpreter with the U.S. Navy and almost 18 years in upper management with American Drug Stores. He served as the dean of students, athletic director, and student council advisor for Butte County School District. Mr. Groshong has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Montana and is pursuing a degree in corporate training from Idaho State University.
Sarah Olivas | Regional Finance Manager
Mrs. Olivas joined ITCA in December of 2023. She began her career with K12 in 2016 with Arizona Virtual Academy. She moved to the finance team in 2021 and has served as a finance manager for several schools throughout the United States. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Accounting. When she isn’t crunching numbers, you can find her reading in her rose garden or planning her next trip.
Tami Perez | Career-Technical Education Coordinator
Ms. Perez has spent 12 years in the classroom as a business and marketing teacher and was an adjunct professor at the College of Southern Idaho, offering dual credit at ITCA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Idaho State University and a Master of Education from the University of Idaho. The first ten years of her career were in payroll and human resources for Idaho school districts. Ms. Perez spent six years at a Project Based Learning (PBL) New Tech Network High School and helped to implement PBL at ITCA. Ms. Perez loves to share her passion for the business world with our students.
