What grades are offered by Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA)?
ITCA offers full-time and part-time enrollment for grades 9–12.

Does the program provide textbooks and other instructional materials?
Yes, we provide all the textbooks and instructional materials needed to complete the program. These books and materials are sent to students directly.
What does it cost to attend ITCA?
ITCA is a public school program, so there is no tuition. We provide Idaho-certified teachers and instructional materials. Eligible families receive a loaner computer and printer. Students and families will be responsible for providing some common household materials (such as printer ink and paper). Our enrollment consultants can help address your technological and computer questions and needs.
Will my child have the same graduation opportunities as students in traditional public schools?
Yes, ITCA is a public school in Idaho. Students can earn a diploma issued by the Idaho Office of Education based on successful completion and mastery of course content. High school students seeking part-time enrollment will receive a transcript upon successful completion of each course.
How much time do students spend on the computer?
At the high school level, students will spend nearly their entire school day online.
Do you provide curriculum for special needs students?
Depending on a child’s IEP, we can tailor our curriculum to meet their needs. To discuss your child’s needs, please contact our office and we will put you in touch with our special education team.
Can you accommodate the accelerated learning needs of my advanced learner?

Does my child receive trade or industry certifications through ITCA?
No. Students who attend ITCA and successfully complete career technical education courses for at least two years will have gained enough exposure to prepare for certification tests after graduation.
How do students interact socially?
Students spend time with classmates online and through school outings, field trips, and other activities. Students can also participate in school-sponsored clubs and K12 online national clubs to connect with peers of like interests.
Can students do extracurricular activities in their resident district?
State law in Idaho allows charter school students to participate in district extracurricular activities. Districts may charge charter school students a participation fee or decline a student if the district program is full. Part-time high school students may participate in the full scope of their resident district or charter school’s offering.
