May 1, 2025

BOISE – Idaho Technical Career Academy (ITCA), a tuition-free, online public high school providing personalized education, proudly announces that Tami Perez, the school’s Career-Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator, has been awarded the 2025 Honorary State FFA Degree — the highest recognition the Idaho FFA Association can bestow upon a supporter of agricultural education.
Perez was honored during the sixth general session of the Idaho FFA State Convention, held April 2-5, 2025, at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.
The Honorary State FFA Degree is presented by the Idaho FFA Association Board of Directors to adults who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Education and the FFA. The award also honors those who have rendered outstanding service to the broader agricultural industry. Recipients may include agriculture teachers, farmers, businesspeople, legislators, school administrators, staff members in agricultural education, and others who are helping to move vocational agriculture and FFA forward across the state.
