What is the Student Advisory Council?
The Stride Career Prep Student Advisory Council is a select group of Stride K12-powered students from around the country who serve as advisors for their peers as well as brand ambassadors for Stride Career Prep and their schools. Through this paid internship opportunity, they provide valuable feedback and insight about their experiences with career readiness education.

Justice Carson
Idaho Technical Career Academy
Career Field: Healthcare
I am fifteen years old and I spend a lot of time on my laptop or cell phone, usually writing or coming up with ideas for a novel or a short story. I love to write and spend time with my horses. I also love to learn languages and research random things. I want to open an internet cafe at some point in my life and travel all over the world. When I first joined this school, I wanted to be an anesthesiologist or a radiologist; now, I think I want to go into the FBI and become a profiler for the BAU and hopefully save the lives of many men, women, and children.
Lily Perkins
Idaho Technical Career Academy
Career Field: Business
My name is Lily Perkins and I am 16 years old. I am a junior, attending Idaho Technical Career Academy. This is my fourth year going to this school and I love it. I live in north Idaho with my mom Claire, my dad Chris, and my two younger brothers, Jackson and Aaron. In my free time, I like to read, go to youth group, play board games, volunteer at my church, and practice yoga. After high school, I want to go to Liberty University and major in elementary education. I would like to become a first grade teacher and, hopefully, return to Idaho.
